Be Calm Corporate Massage visits Accounting ONE
At Fresh HR Insights we are Looking at HR in a Different Light‚ and today was a great example of how we not only deal with the legislation surrounding the employer/ employee relationship but also the well-being of all those within a business.Tax time is always a time when Bookkeepers and Accountants are at their busiest. With the increase in the workload and the extra demands placed on employees and also the Principles of the business comes stress.
With the help of Ashlea Mason, Company Director of Be Calm Corporate Massage (www.becalmcorporate.com.au) Accounting One employees were treated to their own personal workplace Massage session.
Why Corporate Massage?? ‚ ¨ Ashlea explains that it makes your staff feel appreciated, valued. Workplace chair massage is a fantastic way to treat your staff with minimum disruption to your workplace.
We all know from the media that stress and long periods of sitting at your desk can lead to symptoms such as low energy levels, headaches, stiffness as well as tight shoulder and neck muscles.
This results in restricted blood and oxygen flow to the brain causing decreased alertness and productivity. Be Calm Massage helps to stimulate circulation around the body helping ease headaches and leaves the client feeling more focused and alert.
Massage also helps to:
- Lower blood pressure
- Improve circulation
- Increase energy levels
- Create a sense of wellbeing
- Improve focus and concentration
- Strengthen the immune system
- Release muscle tension
The team at Accounting ONE really enjoyed the time away from their desks and a chance to learn simple techniques to massage each other in times of increased demands in workloads. It was also a great opportunity to get to know each other in a totally different way and was rather an experience with an unexpected change of events when one employee fainted. Thank goodness it was only a faint and we were all able to laugh about it later.
Below are some great photos from the season with Be Calm Corporate Massage and Accounting ONE.
